Project details
For the “Hoću knjigu” bookstore chain, it was important to have standardized lighting which helps create a consistent, distinct atmosphere in all their shops, regardless of the specific characteristics of each space. The installed lighting provides adequate light levels, without glare. It is adapted to the needs of the sales process. Careful positioning of the lighting helps highlight the store and build synergy with the lighting of the immediate surroundings.

Challenges
Lighting intensity
By providing the right amount of light at the entrance and in the bookstores, we counterballanced the intense lighting of the shopping mall halls. The impression of a dark space was successfully avoided, and greater customer interest was generated.
Targeted shelf lighting
Using targeted light beams and additional lighting, we achieved the desired illumination of darker shelves and books that absorb large amounts of light.
Alignment with existing lighting
In some locations, the new lighting concept had to be harmonized with the existing lighting, to get a functional and cohesive whole.
Autonomous emergency lighting
We implemented safety lighting which ensures the necessary level of illumination and visibility of the evacuation path in case of a power outage.
